Pipeline Pressure Monitoring
Pressure surveillance and line-break control that flag an abnormal drop early and can trigger automatic isolation.
Pressure data is only meaningful once it is trended. Instruments are installed at defined points, calibrated and referenced to a common time base, so a change in profile can be attributed to the line rather than to a drifting transmitter.
Typical scope: pressure transmitter installation and calibration; data logging and remote transmission; surge and transient monitoring; profile trending and comparison against operating limits; alarm and shutdown setpoint verification; reporting to the operator's control room.
Part of Pipeline Management.
