Pipe Spool Fabrication & Replacement
Survey, fabrication and change-out of pipe spools for onshore, offshore and process plant pipework, with material traceability and weld records.
Spools are surveyed in place before they are drawn, because the dimension that matters is the one in the field rather than the one on the original isometric. Each spool is fabricated, tested and marked as a numbered item so it can be installed in sequence without adjustment on site.
Typical scope: site survey and dimensional take-off; shop fabrication to the line class; welding, NDT and pressure testing; coating and lining where the service requires it; removal of the existing spool under isolation; installation, tie-in weld and reinstatement.
