Pipeline Construction & Repairs

Construction, tie-in and repair of liquid and gas pipelines onshore and in swamp terrain, covering route preparation, welding, testing and reinstatement.

Construction is planned around keeping the line in service wherever the technique allows, so tie-in points, isolation and reinstatement are agreed before any excavation starts. Welding runs to a qualified procedure and every joint is recorded against its own number, which is what makes the as-built traceable years later.

Typical scope: route preparation, stringing and bending; qualified welding and NDT of field joints; tie-ins and hot work under permit; field joint coating and holiday testing; hydrostatic testing and dewatering; backfill, reinstatement and as-built records.
