Emergency Pipeline Repair (EPRS)

Standby repair arrangements for onshore and offshore lines, covering emergency closures, clamps and repair saddles for rapid containment of a leak or rupture.

An emergency repair arrangement is only useful if the equipment and the procedure are ready before the failure. Clamps, saddles and connectors are held against the line sizes and pressure classes actually in service, so response time is spent mobilising rather than sourcing.

Typical scope: standby repair arrangements for onshore, swamp and offshore lines; emergency clamps, repair saddles and mechanical connectors; leak containment and isolation; temporary and permanent repair options; post-repair testing; incident reporting and replenishment of used equipment.
