Specialist Welding
Coded welding across carbon, alloy, stainless and duplex materials, including procedure qualification and welder certification for the applicable code.
Coded welding begins with a qualified procedure and a welder qualified against it. The procedure is written for the material, thickness and position involved, welders are tested to it, and consumables are controlled from storage through to deposition, so the weld in the structure matches the one that was qualified.
Typical scope: carbon, low-alloy, stainless and duplex materials; TIG, MMA, MIG/MAG and FCAW processes; pipework, structural and pressure-retaining welds; procedure and welder qualification records; NDT coordination and repair to an approved repair procedure.
