Platform Hook-up & Commissioning
Hook-up of topsides equipment, tie-in of piping and cabling, and pre-commissioning through to handover of a system ready for start-up.
Hook-up is planned from the tie-in register rather than the drawing set. Every mechanical, piping, electrical and instrument connection between the new item and the existing facility is listed, sequenced around the access and shutdown windows available, and signed off individually before the system is handed to commissioning. Typical scope: structural and pipework tie-ins; cable pulling, glanding and termination; instrument hook-up and loop checks; flushing, pressure testing and reinstatement; punch list management through to system handover certificates.
