Compressor condition is governed by clearances and valve wear, both of which appear in the running data well before they appear as a failure. As-found readings are taken and compared against the machine's own history rather than a generic figure.

Typical scope: reciprocating, screw and centrifugal machines; valve inspection and replacement; piston, rod and ring measurement; bearing and seal renewal; clearance setting and recording; running checks, capacity verification and vibration measurement on restart.
