Radiographic Testing

Radiography is controlled as much for safety as for image quality. Exposure calculation, source handling and barrier control are planned before shooting, and image quality indicators confirm that what was produced can actually be interpreted.

Typical scope: gamma and X-ray exposure of welds and castings; digital and film-based radiography; image quality verification; interpretation to the applicable acceptance standard; controlled area management and radiation safety; reporting with film or file retention.
