Oil Flushing & Cleanliness Control
Flushing of hydraulic and lube systems to a target cleanliness code, with particle counts recorded before and after the flush.
Flushing is finished when the fluid meets a stated cleanliness code, not when the loop has run for an agreed number of hours. Particle counts are taken before and after, and the target is set against the most contamination-sensitive component in the system.
Typical scope: flushing rig connection and loop design; high-velocity flushing to turbulent flow; filtration and particle counting to ISO cleanliness codes; sampling before, during and after; fluid replacement or reinstatement; certificate stating the cleanliness achieved.
