A power unit is rebuilt to its rated pressure, flow and cleanliness rather than merely to working order. Pump condition, valve condition, reservoir cleanliness and cooling capacity are addressed together, since restoring one and ignoring the rest simply relocates the failure.

Typical scope: strip, clean and inspect; pump, motor and valve overhaul or replacement; reservoir cleaning and filtration review; hose, seal and gauge replacement; reassembly, flushing and pressure testing; performance test against the rated duty.
