Instrument Calibration & Loop Testing
Calibration of field instruments and end-to-end loop checks, producing the certificates that support the commissioning record.
Calibration proves the instrument; a loop check proves the loop. Both are needed, because an instrument calibrated on the bench says nothing about the wiring, the barrier and the control system it will actually report through once installed.
Typical scope: bench and field calibration of transmitters, switches and gauges; five-point calibration with as-found and as-left records; loop checks from field device to control system; certificates issued against traceable test equipment; punch listing of loop defects.
