Cable Laying, Testing & Termination

Routing, pulling, glanding and testing of power, control and instrumentation cable, including insulation resistance and continuity records.

Cable is installed to survive its whole life, not merely to reach the far end. Bend radius, support spacing, segregation and pulling tension are controlled during installation, because damage done while pulling tends to appear as a fault years afterwards.

Typical scope: route survey and containment installation; cable pulling under controlled tension; segregation of power, control and instrument runs; glanding and termination; insulation resistance, continuity and phasing tests; cable schedule and test record completion.
