Offshore Asset Inspection

Inspection is carried out to a written scheme of examination rather than on sight. Locations are fixed, methods are stated, and readings are taken at the same points each campaign, which is what makes change measurable between one survey and the next.

Typical scope: topsides and structural visual inspection; close visual examination and NDT of critical members; coating and corrosion condition surveys; access by rope, scaffold or platform as the location requires; anomaly recording and photographic reporting against a fixed location register.
