Inspection & Condition Monitoring
Periodic inspection of hoses in service, recording wear, damage and age so replacement is planned rather than reactive.
Hoses are inspected against defined rejection criteria — cover damage, kinking, exposed reinforcement, coupling movement and age — so removal from service is a decision against a standard rather than an opinion formed on the day.
Typical scope: periodic visual and tactile inspection in place; recording of wear, damage and age against the register; identification of assemblies approaching end of life; immediate removal of any assembly meeting rejection criteria; inspection reporting and trend review.
