Every item supplied carries proof load test and material certification traceable to its own identity, and assemblies are made up to the working load limit and configuration the lift plan calls for rather than to whatever is nearest in the store.

Typical scope: wire rope, chain and synthetic slings; shackles, hooks, swivels and master links; spreader beams and lifting frames; proof load testing and certification against unique identity; colour coding and register entry; periodic re-examination and quarantine of failed items.
