Lift studies, rigging arrangements and method statements prepared for complex and heavy lifts before any equipment is mobilised.
The lift is settled on paper before equipment is mobilised. Weight, centre of gravity, rigging arrangement, ground bearing and exclusion zones are all established in advance, because a lift being reconsidered on the day is a lift being improvised.
Typical scope: weight and centre of gravity determination; crane selection and load chart verification; rigging arrangement and sling angle calculation; ground bearing pressure assessment; lift category assignment and method statement; risk assessment documentation.
