Road transport of oversized and overweight loads, including route survey, permitting and escorting where required.
An abnormal load is planned as a route before it is planned as a vehicle. Bridge capacities, headroom, turning radii and the permits required all shape the trailer configuration that is eventually used.
Typical scope: route survey and feasibility assessment; permit application and authority notification; trailer selection and load securing; escort and traffic management arrangements; loading, transport and offloading; delivery documentation and condition reporting.
